Tom Brady to make broadcaster debut in Cowboys-Browns in September

Fox Sports has announced when former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is going to debut behind the desk.

Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl champion, is set to call the Week 1 clash between the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns.

This news comes almost two years after Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with the network, replacing Greg Olsen, another ex-NFL star turned commentator.

Fox NFL analyst Michael Strahan dropped the news of Brady's debut during the Fox media upfront presentation in New York City on Monday.

The game, which will take place on September 8, at 4:25 p.m. EST, will feature Brady in the booth with Fox’s lead NFL play-by-play announcer, Kevin Burkhardt.

“For the first time in five years, the NFL on Fox opens with the Dallas Cowboys. Yeah, it’s going to be your first game,” Strahan said.

Brady went 7-1 against the Cowboys over 23 seasons and suffering his only loss in the 2022 NFC wild-card matchup. Despite that, he said he was happy to call his former rival’s season-opener.
