Titans sign TE Justin Rigg to futures deal

The Tennessee Titans have added another player on a reserve/futures contract in tight end Justin Rigg, the team announced on Thursday.

Rigg played five years at Kentucky, tallying 50 receptions for 547 yards and six touchdowns in that span.

The 6-foot-6, 266-pound tight end went undrafted in 2022 and was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals but didn’t make the 53-man roster. He also spent time on the practice squad of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Rigg is the 12th player to sign a futures deal in Tennessee. Here’s a look at the previous 11:

DT Curtis Brooks

CB Shyheim Carter

OL Zack Johnson

WR Mason Kinsey

OLB Zach McCloud

TE Thomas Odukoya

OLB Sam Okuayinonu

DL Jayden Peevy

WR Reggie Roberson

OL Andrew Rupcich

K Caleb Shudak

Of the 12, 11 of them were on the Titans’ final version of the 2022 practice squad. There should be more signings coming in the days ahead, as the Titans had a total of 16 futures signings last year.
