What is the matchup like?

This is the biggest fight of Paul's career, as it comes off his only loss, and it represents a step down in competition after Fury. He also considered a rematch with Fury or a fight with Floyd Mayweather or KSI but Diaz represents a more manageable opponent. There is also a history of bad blood between Paul and Diaz through social media.

Diaz's ability in the ring is obviously a question mark since he has never boxed, but his stand-up game was one of his strengths in MMA and he's known for a strong chin and big heart. His conditioning level should help bridge the age gap.
