Tift Lady Devils postpone softball, volleyball games
Aug. 31—TIFTON — Tift County's first Region 1-6A softball doubleheader will wait. Thursday's contests against Thomas County Central have been postponed because of the impact of Hurricane Idalia.
The team also announced on social medial its Sept. 5 game against Coffee has been canceled.
Head coach Taylor Barber announced Thursday afternoon that TCC games will be made up Oct. 10. First pitch will at 4 p.m.
In addition to softball, Tift County volleyball announced it will not play its scheduled match at Lowndes Thursday. "Please keep South GA and everyone affected by Hurricane Idalia in your prayers," said the team in a post to Instagram.
