The Yankees’ first road game of the year will have to wait one more day.

Thursday’s game with the Baltimore Orioles, previously scheduled to start at 3:05 p.m., has been postponed until Friday at the same time due to “the forecast of severe inclement weather.”

Friday had been a scheduled off day in the three-game series, but now the clubs will play three games over the course of the weekend.

The Yankees had previously planned on pitching Clarke Schmidt on Thursday, with the Orioles starting right-hander Dean Kremer.

The teams have not yet announced if their pitching plans have changed.
