Manitowoc Lutheran 32, Hilbert 14

MANITOWOC - The Wolves fell behind by 18 points after the first quarter and fell in Big East Conference play.

Kaelin VandenWyngaard threw for a score to pull Hilbert to within 18-7 in the second quarter, but the Wolves could get no closer.

Manitowoc Lutheran outgained the Wolves 451-302 in total offense, and Hilbert had two turnovers.

The Lancers were led by Brayden Bennett, who threw four touchdown passes.

APPLETON - The Lightning won the Fox Valley Association title with a 9-0 mark as it defeated Neenah 25-19, 25-17, 25-13.

“Our girls played really well tonight against a scrappy and well-coached Neenah team,” North coach Steve Scheuerell said. “We saw a lot of positive things that we have been working on in practice. Really great to get the FVA conference championship on Senior Night.”

Appleton North leaders included Teegan Charapata with nine kills and three aces; Taylee Jones with three kills; Emerson Van Lannen with seven kills, 25 assists and seven digs; Maggie Hahnke with 10 digs; Kayden Lamon with three kills; Ella Demetrician with 18 kills and four digs; and Lydia Koshuta with four aces, seven digs and five assists.

Kimberly 3, Appleton East 0

KIMBERLY - The Papermakers swept past the Patriots in Fox Valley Association action, 25-19, 25-11, 25-17.

Kimberly’s leaders included Ava Reis with 13 aces; Ava Van Vonderen with 14 kills; Emma Tesch with 15 assists; Ava Van Hammond with 14 assists; Ava Van Camp with 16 digs; and Eliana Bies with two solo blocks and three block assists.

Fox Valley Lutheran 3, Marinette 0

APPLETON - The Foxes defeated the Marines 25-7, 25-13, 25-11 to complete an undefeated conference season and win the North Eastern Conference title.

Emma Nilson and Annalise Patchett both had 11 kills. Brooklyn Hayes chipped in with six kills. Riley Schmitz had 17 digs. Molly Bixby had seven aces and 20 assists. Ava Patchett had 14 assists and four aces.

St. Mary Catholic 3, Weyauwega-Fremont 1

WEYAUWEGA - The Zephyrs defeated the Warhawks 25-17, 14-25, 25-17, 25-18 in a nonconference match.

Stella Virlee led St. Mary Catholic with 19 assists. Sammie Weiss had 18 assists and 14 digs. Lauren Fischer had 14 kills and 14 digs for a double-double. Olivia Noel had 12 digs.
