"I was very happy with the way we played today. We were missing one of our top players due to an AP exam, but we had a couple guys step up and shoot good scores to help fill the void," Three Rivers coach Patrick Kline said. "I'm very proud of the way they accepted the challenge today."

Finishing behind Three Rivers was Sturgis in second (366). Colon shot a team score of 373, Constantine fired a 390 and Centreville shot 401. Mendon (406) and White Pigeon (413) rounded out the team scores.

Three Rivers was led by Caleb Quake and Max Hoxie. Quake shot an 83 and Hoxie added an 84 on the day. Vili Keranen shot a 91. Bryson McGraw added a 92.

The two teams played in a dual matchup last week as well, with Three Rivers picking up a 6.5 - 1.5 victory in match play. Sturgis also competed against Coldwater, falling 3.5 - 2.5 in the match. Herald and Wallace each won their matches.

On Monday, Hillsdale Academy won a jamboree while shooting a team score of 174. Colon finished third at 187, Mendon was fifth with a 252. Giovanni Munoz shot a 55 for Burr Oak.
