Three-goal burst by Middletown soccer star nets Delaware Online Athlete of the Week honor
Congratulations to Gabby Riley of Middletown girls soccer, the Delaware Online Athlete of the Week for Week 11 of the spring season. The junior scored three goals in a 4-2 victory over Appoquinimink in the DIAA Division I championship game.
Riley won an online vote over four other nominees. This is the final Athlete of the Week for the 2022-23 high school sports year. Congratulations to all of the winners throughout the fall, winter and spring seasons.
