Three El Paso high school volleyball players have earned Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association All-State honors.

In Class 5A, El Paso High senior outside hitter Diana Wong was named to the honorable mention team after helping the Tigers to a District 1-5A title and two playoff wins. She passed the 1,000 kill mark in her career this past season.

In Class 6A, Eastlake's Jaelyn Kohli and Kaitlyn Salgado were named to the third team.

Kohli, a junior, was one of the most coveted Division I prospects in El Paso before committing to New Mexico State. She is an outside hitter for the Falcons.

Salgado also plays outside hitter for the Falcons and had 278 kills and 231 digs in District 1-6A.

Salgado and Kohli led the Falcons to a pair of playoff wins for the first time in school history and the Falcons also defeated city powers Franklin and Coronado this past season.
