Thomas to Thomas: Pro Football Hall of Fame announces speech order for 2023 enshrinement

CANTON – The Pro Football Hall of Fame officially announced the speech order for the Class of 2023’s Enshrinement, which is set to begin at noon Aug. 5 at Tom Benson Stadium.

The ceremony will open with Zach Thomas' speech and end with Joe Thomas'. The lineup is:

  1. ZACH THOMAS

  2. KEN RILEY

  3. DeMARCUS WARE

  4. JOE KLECKO

  5. CHUCK HOWLEY

  6. DARRELLE REVIS

  7. DON CORYELL

  8. RONDÉ BARBER

  9. JOE THOMAS

Similar to last year’s enshrinement, each of the nine inductees will have 10 minutes to speak in the nationally televised event. The PFHOF will also have a tribute video for both Coryell and Riley. Mindy Coryel, Don’s daughter, will speak on behalf of her late father. Ken Riley II, son of Ken, will speak for his dad.

Chuck Howley will not be present at the enshrinement, but his son, Scott, will represent him and give his remarks after revealing Chuck’s bust.

The presenters for each member of the Class of 2023, which were previously announced, are:

  • Rondé Barber – Tiki Barber, brother

  • Don Coryell – Dan Fouts, Pro Football Hall of Famer and former player

  • Chuck Howley – Bob Lilly, Pro Football Hall of Famer and former teammate

  • Joe Klecko – Marty Lyons, former teammate

  • Darrelle Revis – Diana Askew, mother

  • Ken Riley – Barbara Riley, widow

  • Joe Thomas – Annie Thomas, wife

  • Zach Thomas – Jimmy Johnson, Pro Football Hall of Famer and former coach

  • DeMarcus Ware – Jerry Jones, Pro Football Hall of Famer and Owner, Dallas Cowboys

Chris Berman will once again host as the master of ceremonies for the annual Enshrinement. Tickets are on sale at www.profootballhof.com/tickets. Tickets are limited.
