  • In honor of the first of May, The Rush highlights the many firsts that sports fans have experienced in 2019. It’s The Rush’s First Annual First-A-Thon!

  • Tom Brady won the Super Bowl, which isn’t a first, but he won it for the sixth time, and that definitely is.

  • Kyler Murray was taken in the first round of the NFL draft, but he was also taken in the first round of the MLB draft. It’s the first time that has happened.

  • Magic Johnson became the first NBA executive in history to quit during a press conference without even telling his bosses first.
