The fantasy arrow is pointing up for Yordan Alvarez

At this point, we’re all familiar with Yordan Alvarez. The rookie slugger in Houston has made waves this year, hammering 23 home runs in the minors only to get the call up and hit four homers in the majors already.

Fantasy baseball expert Dalton Del Don thinks the fantasy hype around him should be even higher — in fact, he’d take Alvarez over fellow rookie slugger, Austin Riley, in a heartbeat.

Another player who just continues to trend upwards is Lance Lynn. Yes, even at 32 years old and playing in a hitter’s ballpark, Lynn has shown off this season, throwing harder than ever. He should keep the good times rolling in a plus-matchup against the White Sox.

Unfortunately, the good vibes can’t be shared by some New York staples. With the arrival of Edwin Encarnacion, the return of Giancarlo Stanton, and the impending return of Aaron Judge, early season Yankee mainstays D.J. LeMahieu, Clint Frazier, Brett Gardner, and Gio Urshela (just to name a few) should see their fantasy stocks go down.

A train ride from the Bronx, Zack Wheeler has been having a tough go of it lately. He has a 5.60 ERA in his last seven starts. Wheeler continues to throw hard, but it’s just not translating to success. Not to mention, the horrible defense behind him isn’t doing him in favors.

Whose stock do you think is rising? Whose is falling?
