Thanasis Antetokounmpo buys into content production company

Thanasis Antetokounmpo is broadening his business portfolio, as he is joining the ownership group of Travelin Bone Entertainment.

Antetokoummpo, who has an executive producer credit to his name for the movie “Twisted Vines,” which was released in 2022, joined with the content production company that says it sources “original ideas from season creators worldwide.”

Travelin Bone Entertainment's group includes Naresh Malik, Steve Garrow, Marc Sternberg and Brad Kresiberg, individuals who have produced films "October Sky," "The Girl Next Door" and "Mirrors."

Unscripted television productions in their portfolio include "Jersey Shore," "Hell's Kitchen" and "Martha and Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party."

In a statement released by the company Antetokounmpo said, “Travelin Bone has an impressive lineup of projects with established partners and our business-building philosophies are aligned. I’m excited to work together with the TBE team.”

Thanasis Antetokounmpo also has a podcast called "Thanalysis," and had already joined his younger brother, Giannis, with a hand in production. Giannis Antetokounmpo has executive producer credits for the 2022 Disney film “Rise” and short National Geographic documentary “The Flagmakers.”

Thanasis Antetokounmpo, along with Giannis and their younger brothers Kostas and Alex bought a piece of the Nashville Major League Soccer team and the Canadian confectionary company Candy Funhouse. The family has also launched a mutual fund and Ante, Inc., which oversees the family’s business interests.

Thanasis Antetokounmpo, who will turn 31 on July 18, is currently a free agent after four seasons playing for the Milwaukee Bucks. He was drafted by the New York Knicks at No. 51 in the 2014 draft but did not make his NBA debut until the 2015-16 season. He also has played in Spain and Greece.
