Texas women's basketball tickets in 2024 NCAA Tournament: Prices, how to buy

The Texas women have learned their fate for the upcoming NCAA Tournament, claiming the final No. 1 seed and a first-round matchup with Drexel.

This year's team is an experienced one that has earned its scars in March. Last year as a No. 4 seed, Texas fell in the second round to fifth-seeded Louisville 73-51. Even so, the 2023-24 season was filled with promise as star point guard Rori Harmon returned to lead the Longhorns again.

However, Texas enters the tournament having lost Harmon early due to injury. In her place, freshman Madison Booker's breakout year has catapulted the team to a 30-4 record. With coach Vic Schaefer leading a stout defense, the team will be entering a bracket with teams like Gonzaga, Alabama and Utah. First up though, is the 16th-seeded Drexel Dragons.
