Texas receives recruiting prediction for 2025 five-star RB Jordon Davison
Texas continues to make quite the case for Running Back University (RBU).
Do Earl Campbell, Ricky Williams, Jamaal Charles and Cedric Benson ring a bell? Bijan Robinson is the most recent star to add his name to the list as the Doak Walker Award winner in 2022 and the No. 1 running back prospect for the 2023 NFL draft.
It doesn’t appear to be stopping there.
Steve Sarkisian’s staff landed the No. 1 running back in the 2023 recruiting class (Cedric Baxter) and is on pace to land the nation’s top running back for the 2024 cycle as well.
On Wednesday, On3’s Gerry Hamilton entered a recruiting prediction for 2024 consensus five-star running back Jerrick Gibson. Chad Simmons of On3 entered a recruiting prediction in favor of Texas for one of the top running backs in the 2025 class, Jordon Davison.
On3’s industry ranking lists Davison as the No. 3 running back in the country for 2025, but 247Sports lists the Mater Dei standout as a five-star prospect and the No. 2 running back for the 2025 cycle.
Sarkisian’s staff appears to be gaining steam on the recruiting trail at the right time.
