Texas receiver Agiye Hall says Alabama football fans are 'not really loving'
A few weeks have passed since Agiye Hall announced he was transferring from Alabama football to Texas, but the wide receiver continues to talk about the Crimson Tide.
Or more specifically, Alabama fans.
In an interview with Horns247, he was asked what stood out about his visit to Texas.

“One thing that really stood out is the culture," Hall said. "Bama fans — they’re not really loving, if I could say — even when you leave. Texas fans are like a family. They love you unconditionally. They want the best for you and want to make sure you’re striving to be the best person you are, whether it’s people in the stands, players or coaches - they’re all connected, which is a good thing.”
The sophomore landed with the Longhorns via the transfer portal after a tenure that began with promise. About a year ago, he caught four passes for 72 yards in the A-Day game.
A four-star recruit from Florida in the 2021 class, Hall received only 78 snaps during the season, according to Pro Football Focus' charting.
Hall tweeted then later deleted a tweet that read "Yea nah, calling it quits," after the Mississippi State game. Then, he wasn't in uniform for the Tennessee game.
Hall saw the most playing time in the College Football Playoff championship game with 30 snaps after Jameson Williams left with a knee injury. Hall couldn't take advantage. He received seven targets but only caught two passes, according to PFF.
Then he was removed from the online roster during spring practices and coach Nick Saban announced he was suspended from the team.
