"When I first partnered with Panini to auction off my trading card, I wanted the money to go to a good cause," Manning said at Tuesday's ceremony. "Helping children live healthy and fulfilling lives was important to me and my family."

Manning was a highly-regarded five-star high school recruit, UT's crown jewel of its 2023 signing class and is the nephew of former NFL quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning and the grandson of former New Orleans Saints quarterback Archie Manning. Initial reporting said that Archie Manning told his grandson that he was not allowed to accept any NIL deals until he had earned the starting job at Texas.

The multiyear agreement will see Panini create exclusive autographed trading cards, including the auction for a 1-of-1 Arch Manning Throwback Prizm Black Autographed Card; 100% of proceeds from the sale will benefit children and their families in Central Texas with support from St. David’s HealthCare and St. David’s Foundation.

Through six games, Manning has yet to see the field for the Longhorns. He's Texas' third-team quarterback behind Quinn Ewers and Maalik Murphy.
