Texans agree to 1-year deal with CB Jeff Okudah
The Houston Texans continued to add secondary depth this offseason.
Houston agreed to a one-year deal with former Atlanta Falcons cornerback Jeff Okudah, according to multiple reports. The deal is for one year and worth up to $4.75 million, per KPRC 2’s Aaron Wilson, and has $2.5 million guaranteed. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero added that Okudah’s contract is worth up to $6 million.

Okudah, 25, is a former No. 3 overall pick by the Detroit Lions in 2020. He spent three years in Detroit before being dealt to the Falcons for a fifth round pick in 2023. Okudah played 13 games for Atlanta and started nine. He tallied 44 combined tackles and three passes defended but no interceptions.
Okaduh’s career numbers aren’t gaudy, either: two career interceptions, 13 defended passes and 168 combined tackles. He’s a rangy cornerback with a 6-foot-1, 202-pound frame.
It’s not a big move, but Okudah is still young and provides quality depth in the secondary for Houston alongside starter Derek Stingley, D’Angelo Ross and Kris Boyd.
