Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 5 game

The Indianapolis Colts (2-2) take on the Tennessee Titans (2-2) in an AFC South matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts had rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson back last week after he was in concussion protocol. He had three total touchdowns in an overtime loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Indianapolis could potentially have star running back Jonathan Taylor back in the lineup as he was removed from the PUP list.

The Titans won 27-3 against the lowly Cincinnati Bengals in their Week 4 game. Derrick Henry had two touchdowns of his own, including his third career score through the air. He had his first 100-yard game of the season with 122 yards.

Tennessee has won five straight matchups against their division foes. Henry had 242 rushing yards between both of last year's games.

The Colts have lost seven straight games at home.

Lorenzo Reyes: Titans 19, Colts 16

Tennessee’s offense had failed to go off until last week’s showing against the Bengals and the Titans, which can be a streaky team, might build momentum off of that victory. Even though it’s just essentially a pick ‘em, Mike Vrabel’s record as an underdog is impressive and the Colts dug themselves into a 23-point hole against the Rams. More than anything, I have a hard time seeing Indy finding an answer for Derrick Henry.

Tyler Dragon: Titans 22, Colts 19

Tennessee has impressive wins over the Chargers and Bengals this season. Derrick Henry had 122 rushing yards and one TD last week, he even threw for a touchdown. The Titans ride their workhorse running back to another victory. Plus, Tennessee’s defense might give Colts rookie QB Anthony Richardson some trouble.

Victoria Hernandez: Colts 23, Titans 21

Seven is the number of completion and the Colts snap their home game losing streak this week. Anthony Richardson is red hot and is showcasing decision-making like that of a veteran. The Titans offense came alive last week, but it won't be enough to compete with the blossoming rookie.

Jordan Mendoza: Colts 22, Titans 20

This is one of the most evenly divided matchups of the week. Anthony Richardson was able to orchestrate a 23-point comeback last week even though it ended in a loss, while Tennessee stomped over a struggling Cincinnati. Indianapolis gets the close win and ends its five-game losing streak against Tennessee.
