Tennessee baseball's Trey Lipscomb wears fur cleats in Friday's NCAA Baseball Tournament opener

Tennessee baseball third baseman Trey Lipscomb was wearing something a bit different to start the 2022 Knoxville Regional.

Adding to the fur coat and daddy hat home run traditions, Lipscomb decided to add to the creativity. In the top of the third inning of the Vols' regional opener against Alabama State, the ESPN broadcast flashed over to his cleats, which are custom-made, with fur along the laces.

He first showcased the custom kicks on his Instagram, which detailed a custom "Daddy" design with the fur embedded beneath the laces. The shoes, which are made by Nike, also feature a custom swoosh with animal print.
