Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd among Pro Football Focus' top 10 upcoming free-agent receivers
Tee Higgins is the NFL's top upcoming free-agent wide receiver, according to Pro Football Focus, and Cincinnati Bengals teammate Tyler Boyd is ranked No. 9 in PFF's top 10.
PFF's Gordon McGuinness wrote that Higgins fits with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He added that tight end Dalton Schultz is the free agent the Bengals should pursue this offseason.
When Brian Callahan left his position as the Bengals' offensive coordinator to become the Tennessee Titans' new head coach, there was speculation from Jason McCourty and others that Higgins would follow Callahan to Nashville.
Boyd, scheduled to become a free agent, has 513 receptions for 6,000 yards with 31 touchdowns over eight seasons with the Bengals. He had 67 catches for 667 yards with two touchdowns in 17 games this past season.
Higgins, expected by many to receive the Bengals' franchise tag, has 257 receptions for 3,684 yards with 24 TDs over four seasons with Cincinnati. He had 42 catches for 656 yards with five TDs in 12 games this past season.
