Ted Lasso pop-up coming to Kansas City ahead of show's season finale

The Crown & Anchor is coming to Kansas City!

Kind of.

Starting on Saturday, fans of "Ted Lasso" can enjoy a pub-like experience at Cane Brewing Company, which is transforming into AFC Raytown, a spin on AFC Richmond with the name of the Kansas City suburb in which the brewery is located. The pop-up, which runs through June 2, is to celebrate the season finale of the hit show, which stars Kansas City native Jason Sudeikis.

AFC Raytown will feature "Ted Lasso"-inspired drinks named after characters in the show and based off Ted's "Be a goldfish" saying. There will be a trivia night on Monday and photo opps with the "Believe" sign and scenes from the show. On Wednesday, the pop-up will offer free barbecue from the iconic Arthur Bryant's while fans watch a screening of the last episode of Season 3.

"We are thrilled to bring the joy and excitement of Ted Lasso to life through our AFC Raytown Pop-Up Bar," MacKenzie Magwire, events and marketing manager of Crane Brewing Co., said in a statement to the Kansas City Star. "Fans of the show and lovers of great beer and food will have a fantastic time immersing themselves in the Ted Lasso universe, enjoying themed cocktails, and creating lasting memories with friends.”

FAMOUS FANS: From Kevin Hart (Eagles) to Brad Pitt (Chiefs), who are celebrity fans of each Super Bowl 57 team?

The Crown & Anchor in the show is actually The Prince's Head in Richmond, England. The pub pays tribute to the fictional club with an AFC Richmond scarf hanging above the bar.

Fans have flocked to "Ted Lasso," the story of a former college football coach hired to helm a floundering club in the English Premier League. The show creates conversation around family, romance and mental health. Despite its popularity, Sudeikis, a big Kansas City Chiefs fan who sprinkles references to his hometown throughout the show, said in March that this season will be the last of "Ted Lasso" as originally intended.
