The red scarf theory himself. The actor and popstar had a long-winded relationship until Gyllenhaal ultimately ended things claiming there was too big of an age gap. Swift went on to write the album Red in which most songs were inspired by Gyllenhaal.

One of Swift’s more long-lasting relationships, yet the most forgotten. The two were constantly on the red carpet together, at music shows and at each other’s concerts. Even though Harris was the one to ultimately end things, there appears to be no bad blood.
