Get a glimpse of Syracuse University's men's and women's basketball teams on their trip to Rochester this weekend.

Edison Tech grad Dyaisha Fair and new men's basketball coach Adrian Autry will guide the Orange in their return to the Blue Cross Arena for "Monroe Madness" from 6-8 p.m. Saturday.

A night of fun and games, including an intersquad scrimmage, will take place before the Syracuse squads embark on their 2023-24 seasons.

What is 'Monroe Madness'?

Monroe Madness is a night of basketball-themed events with SU men's and women's basketball teams.

People in attendance may participate with the college basketball players during a planned interactive competition. Fans may also watch Syracuse participate in a 3-point shooting contest, scrimmage, and a dunk contest.

Who will I see at 'Monroe Madness'?

Rochester native Dyaisha Fair stars on the women's team. She recently was named to the Lieberman Award Watch List. The 19.9 points per game Fair averaged last season was second in the Atlantic Coast Conference. She was also an All-ACC first teamer and an all-conference defensive team honoree after guiding the Orange to a 20-13 mark.

Bishop Kearney's Saniaa Wilson enters her junior season for the Orange. She averaged 4.0 points and 3.3 rebounds in 27 appearances last winter. Georgia Woolley, another Orange player who began her career at UB, is also back after averaging 12.9 points and hooping in the WNIT.

SU men's coach Adrian Autry will be there as he prepares to run the first Orange roster not coached by Jim Boeheim since 1975-76 season. Autry is aiming to compete in the ACC after two straight seasons without a postseason invite.

Perhaps a Central New York hoops star in JJ Starling can turn things around. The former Baldwinsville star transferred back home from Notre Dame. Judah Mintz, Chris Bell and Benny Williams are some of SU's returning starters.

Women's coach Felisha Legette-Jack is recovering from a medical procedure and may not be in attendance.
