Surprise! 2023 Five Star QB Malachi Nelson visiting A&M
The Aggies annual recruiting pool party event is this weekend, and while the list of recruits who were slated to attend was impressive in itself. There are some surprises instore as several recruits have asked insiders not to list them publicly prior to the event.
The first surprise of the weekend actually came Thursday night when reports surfaced that Malachi Nelson the five star quarterback from Los Alamitos, California, who is the #2 ranked prospect in the country according to the 247 composite, was in College Station for the weekend.
Nelson has been committed to USC since last November, and the Aggies are the first visit other than USC that he’s taken anywhere in the country.

We know quarterback has been a 2023 priority for the Aggies since Eli Holstein decommitted in March, and it appears they are swinging for the fences.
