Summit County Athletes of the Week May 13-19 | Sydney Hillyard, Finn Keenan win vote
Athletes from Springfield and Revere high schools won the voting for the Summit County High School Athlete of the Week for May 13-19.
Springfield's Sydney Hillyard is the girls winner and Revere's Finn Keenan wins for the boys. Hillyard is a softball player and Keenan is a tennis player. Hillyard received 53.30% of the votes cast. Keenan received 43.40% of the votes cast.
A total of 280 votes were cast overall.

Sydney Hillyard, Springfield softball
Allowed a combined two runs in two game as the 11th-seeded Spartans advanced to Division II regional semifinals. She pitched a shutout while allowing seven hits Tuesday in a 10-0 district semifinal win over Elyria Catholic, and then struck out eight while pitching a complete game Thursday in a 10-2 win over Oberlin Firelands in a district final.
Finn Keenan, Revere tennis
Won his semifinal match 6-2, 6-7, 7-6 at the Akron Division I district tennis tournament before having to retire in the second set of a 6-4, 1-0 loss to Hudson's Henrique Sa in the championship match, Despite that loss, he advanced to this week's state tournament in Wooster.
