Stellar pitching, hitting make DMA softball star the Delaware Online Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to Emily Trzonkowski of Delaware Military Academy softball, the Delaware Online Athlete of the Week for Week 8 of the spring season. The junior pitcher went 3-0 with 24 strikeouts and hit .545, including key extra-inning hits in wins over Caesar Rodney and Indian River.

Trzonkowski won an online vote over four other nominees. Check out the nominees each Monday on Delaware Online and vote for your favorite. Voting is free and runs Monday through Thursday, with the weekly winner announced each Friday.
