Steelers S Minkah Fitzpatrick lands at No. 44 on PFF Top 101 players

Pro Football Focus is counting down their Top 101 players from the 2022 season. Last season, PFF didn’t have Pittsburgh Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick at all but this year he landed at No. 44.

Fitzpatrick had a huge season and was back to his All-Pro form. In 2021, Fitzpatrick was relegated to being a run-stopper and led the Steelers in tackles.

But in 2022, the Steelers allowed Fitzpatrick to roam and it paid off with a league-leading six interceptions. Fitzpatrick also had 89 tackles, 11 passes defended and one tackle for loss. He has once again set the bar for free safeties in the NFL and frankly is ranked far too low on this list.

Let us know where you would rank Fitzpatrick on this list and if PFF got it right or wrong.
