Steelers FA linebacker Devin Bush to visit Seahawks

According to ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter, Pittsburgh Steelers free agent linebacker Devin Bush is visiting the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday. Bush is hoping to find a team willing to give him a new contract and an opportunity to revitalize his career.

The Steelers took a huge gamble when they traded up to the No. 10 overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft to pick Bush. He was supposed to be the guy who replaced Ryan Shazier. And for one season, it really seemed like that might be the case.

But in the fifth game of the 2020 season, Bush tore his ACL and nothing was ever the same for him. His return in 2021 was lackluster and it got passed off as a slow recovery from the knee injury. But in 2022, without that excuse, Bush still struggled. This culminated in Bush being benched down the stretch last season. We hope Bush can find a new team where he can salvage what was a once-promising career.
