St. Paul Saints score twice in 11th inning to top Columbus Clippers
Sunday's game: St. Paul 5, Columbus 4
Recap: The Saints scored two runs in the bottom of the 11th to move to 2-0 and keep Columbus winless. Juan Brito singled in Jose Tena in the top of the 11th to give the Clippers a 4-3 lead. For St. Paul, pinch runner Will Holland began the bottom of the 11th on second base. After Anthony Prato hit an infield single, both runners advanced on a wild pitch. DeShawn Keirsey Jr. struck out before the Clippers intentionally walked Alex Isola to load the bases. Yoyner Fajardo then singled in two Holland and Prato to win the game. Columbus was led by Brito, who was 3 for 5 with a home run and three RBIs. The Clippers outhit the Saints 8-7.
