State Farm Classic (Small School Bracket)
SACRED HEART-GRIFFIN 47, KANKAKEE BISHOP MCNAMARA 38: Senior forward Callie Huston scored a game-high 21 points and spearheaded SHG to a third-place finish in the small school bracket.
Huston made eight field goals and went 5-for-7 from the free throw line. Maggie Fleischli added nine points for SHG, which led 20-13 at intermission.
Trinity Davis had a team-high 19 points for Bishop McNamara.
Friday, Dec. 29
Carlinville Holiday Tournament
HARDIN CALHOUN 46, CARLINVILLE 36: Hardin Calhoun overcame a two-point deficit and limited Carlinville to two points in the final quarter of the championship game at Carlinville.
Calhoun outscored Carlinville 14-2 in the fourth. Kate Zipprich had 18 points and Sadie Kiel and Kiera Sievers tallied nine points apiece for Calhoun.
Carlinville’s Kaitlyn Reels and Isabella Tiburzi made two 3-pointers apiece and both finished with 10 points each. Reels and Tiburzi both made the all-tournament team.
Zipprich and Audrey Gilman represented Calhoun on the all-tournament team. Mia Brawner and Amari Vickery made it for third-place Gillespie, and Savana Howell (South County) and Kinley Stolte (Nokomis) rounded out the team.
GILLESPIE 40, NOKOMIS 22: Gillespie held Nokomis to single digit scoring in each quarter and rolled to a third-place finish.
Gillespie went into intermission with a 23-9 lead. Mia Brawner led the Miners with a game-high 14 points. Amari Vickery contributed 10.
Natalie Brownback and Kinley Stolte paced Nokomis with five points each.
SOUTH COUNTY 30, GREENFIELD-NORTHWESTERN 28: South County dominated the fourth period by outscoring Greenfield 17-4 to claim fifth place.
Greenfield led 24-13 after three quarters. Savana Howell buried two 3-pointers and led South County with 12 points. Callie Wagner and Riley Holloway combined for three 3s and each finished with seven points.
Addison Wright had 10 points for Greenfield.
RAYMOND LINCOLNWOOD 33, WILLIAMSVILLE 30: Lillian Terneus scored more than half of the Lancers points with a game-high 19 as Lincolnwood won the seventh-place game.
Taryn Millburg had the only 3-pointer of the game for Lincolnwood and she scored five points. The game went into halftime tied at 10 apiece.
Charlene Gleason led Williamsville with eight points.
Peoria Manual Holiday Tournament
LINCOLN 57, PEORIA 25: Kloe Froebe returned to the floor and posted 20 points to help lead the Railsplitters to the tournament title and remain unbeaten at 17-0.
Froebe missed Thursday’s semifinal against Dunlap.
Lincoln, ranked No. 2 in Class 3A, limited top-ranked Peoria to just four points in the second half after the Lions star player, Aaliyah Guyton, went down with a knee injury in the second quarter. Guyton, who will play at University of Iowa, finished with five points.
Piper Whiteman aided Lincoln with 11 points while Becca Heitzig had 10. Taryn Stoltzenburg added seven.
CHATHAM GLENWOOD 50, PEORIAL MANUAL 42: Macy Martynowski helped clinch the win in the fourth quarter at the free throw line.
She went 4-for-for from the stripe and finished with a team-best 19 points to win the consolation title. Ava Bobb and Katelyn Lehnen each had 10 points while Alexis Neumann had seven points.
SOUTHEAST 56, DECATUR MACARTHUR 55, OT: Marisa Gant totaled 26 points to help the Spartans win the competition bracket.
Navehua Collier delivered six points in the overtime period, including 4-for-4 from the free throw line. She finished with 11 points. Ra’Kiyha Coleman and Corrine Pickett pitched in seven and six points, respectively.
MacArthur’s Lexi Meyer chalked up 15 of her team-high 17 points after the break.

State Farm Classic (Large School Bracket)
GENESEO 36, ROCHESTER 32: Eleanor Gegen was the only Rochester player in double figures with 14 points as the Rockets lost in a consolation quarterfinal game.
Taylor Offer had nine points for Rochester in the loss.
The Rockets then fell to Rock Island later in the day in the consolation fifth-place game. Offer made nine field goals and had a team-high 18 points. Rochester trailed 36-29 after three periods.
ROCK ISLAND 50, ROCHESTER 43: Taylor Offer registered 18 points in the second game of the day for the Rockets. Alyse Day added seven points.
Rochester trailed just 25-23 at halftime after a strong second quarter before falling behind 36-29 at the end of the third.
SPRINGFIELD HIGH 54, PLAINFIELD NORTH 46: Emma Scheffler sizzled in the first quarter with two 3s and led the Senators to a consolation win with 13 points. Mia Volpert also hit two 3s in the first half and delivered 12 points. Mal Harris and Ariana Williams each had seven points.
NORMAL COMMUNITY 56, TAYLORVILLE 48: Normal Community led 50-33 after three quarters and defeated the Tornadoes in the championship quarterfinals.
Addison Tarr scored a team-high 14 points and teammate Kyleigh Heimsness contributed 10 for Taylorville. Olivia Woodward scored nine.
Taylorville plays Bloomington in the fifth-place bracket at 12:30 on Friday.
State Farm Classic (Small School Bracket)
SACRED HEART-GRIFFIN 50, PARIS 30: Callie Huston totaled nine field goals and 18 points to catapult Sacred Heart-Griffin to the semifinals. Maggie Fleischli added 10 points while Izzy Hassebrock had eight.
Peoria Manual Holiday Tournament
Competition bracket: Decatur MacArthur 51, Lanphier 22
CHATHAM GLENWOOD 38, PEORIA MANUAL 27: Ava Bobb and Karley Hawkins each had nine points in the consolation win for the Titans. Makenna Yeager added seven points.
LINCOLN 63, DUNLAP 27: Piper Whiteman totaled 18 points and Lincoln cruised to the championship game despite missing star senior guard Kloe Froebe due to injury.
Jenna Bowman splashed three 3s in the third period and finished with 13 points. Becca Heitzig contributed 12 points while Taryn Stoltzenburg had eight.
Carlinville Holiday Tournament
HARDIN CALHOUN 48, GILLESPIE 39: Amari Vickery led the Miners with 14 points in the loss. Mia Brawner (11 points) and Delaney Taylor (10 points) also reached double figures.
Kate Zipprich and Audrey Gilman paced Calhoun with 13 and 11 points, respectively. Gilman went 6-for-6 from the free throw line. Gillespie plays Nokomis for third place at 3 on Friday.
SOUTH COUNTY 44, RAYMOND LINCOLNWOOD 26: South County’s Jacee Alexander was the only player in double figures with 11 points and the Vipers advanced to the fifth-place game.
Savana Howell added nine points for South County, which outscored Lincolnwood 13-3 in the second period after the score was tied 7-7 after one.
GREENFIELD 37, WILLIAMSVILLE 32 (OT): Greenfield outscored Williamsville 9-4 in overtime and will play South County on Friday at noon in the fifth-place game.
Adeline Lansaw and Naomi Lansaw both finished in double figures for Greenfield with 14 and 12 points, respectively.
Naomi Roberts, Britni Walters and Charlene Gleason led Williamsville with six points apiece. The Bullets will play Raymond Lincolnwood for seventh place at noon.
CARLINVILLE 46, NOKOMIS 32: Kaitlyn Reels and Braley Wiser combined for seven 3-pointers and propelled Carlinville to Friday’s championship game.
Carlinville will play Hardin Calhoun at 6 p.m. for the title.
Reels drained for 3-pointers and led Carlinville with 14 points and Wiser made three from long distance and finished with 11. Hannah Gibson had eight points in the victory as the Cavaliers salted the win by outscoring Nokomis 15-5 in the fourth quarter.

GILLESPIE 56, GREENFIELD/NORTHWESTERN 40: Mia Brawner chalked up 18 points and the Miners gradually pulled away for the win. Amari Vickery contributed 12 points while seven other players also chipped in a score.
NOKOMIS 49, RAYMOND LINCOLNWOOD 16: Kinley Stolte reached nine points and four other players scored at least six points in the win for NHS. Becca Hill provided seven points while Mackenzie Mehochko, Natalie Brownback and Lizzy Hill each had six points.
HARDIN CALHOUN 43, WILLIAMSVILLE 39: Britni Walters and Charlene Gleason tallied 14 and 10 points, respectively, in the loss for the Bullets, who trailed 37-27 by the end of the third quarter. Audrey Gilman and Kate Zipprich led Calhoun with 17 and 12 points, respectively.
CARLINVILLE 47, SOUTH COUNTY 42: Jordyn Loveless and Isabella Tiburzi each had 10 points and the Cavaliers jumped to a 26-17 halftime lead en route to a win in pool play. Braley Wiser (nine points) and Kaitlyn Reels (six points) each had two 3s. Jenna McGrath and Savana Howell tallied 12 points apiece for the Vipers.

SACRED HEART-GRIFFIN 63, EL PASO-GRIDLEY 38: Callie Huston tallied 21 points and the Cyclones rolled to a win in the first round. Sophie Murphy and Maggie Fleischli each had 14 points.

TAYLORVILLE 55, GENESEO 39: Kyleigh Heimsness and Aubrey Kietzman combined for six 3s to advance to the second round with a win. Heimsness drained four 3s, including two in the fourth quarter, and led the Tornadoes with 15 points. Kietzman ended with 14 points. Addison Tarr and Mazie Fleming each had 10 points.
