Here are the Springfield area boys basketball teams that will play in state quarterfinals

Three southwest Missouri boys basketball teams advanced to the state quarterfinals in Classes 4-6 with victories on Tuesday night. . Here are the results from all area games Tuesday. Check MSHSAA.org for the latest schedule, time and location for Saturday's games.

Class 4: Father Tolton 73, Bolivar 36

Bolivar's Cinderella postseason run ended against one of the better Class 4 teams in the state. The Trailblazers had five players score in double digits, with Aaron Rowe scoring 15 and Exavier Wilson adding 13.

The Liberators' season ended at 8-22 but with some excitement at the end of the year with a three-game run through its district that ended with a 57-49 championship win over Catholic.

Class 4: Logan-Rogersville 64, Seneca 51

The Wildcats are in the state quarterfinals for the second year in a row and they'll get their shot at redemption against the team that ended their season a year ago.

Logan-Rogersville didn't have any trouble putting Seneca away for the second time this season. It held Seneca to its second-lowest scoring output of the season. The Wildcats were responsible for two of the highest-scoring games Seneca allowed this year.

A date with Father Tolton is up next after the Trailblazers won last year's quarterfinal matchup 52-35. The Trailblazers have since added Rowe, a five-star point guard committed to Mizzou, who played last season at Link Academy.

Class 5: Parkview 58, Hillcrest 53

Parkview and Hillcrest went back and forth all night until the Vikings pulled away in the final seconds to avenge their district championship defeat to the Hornets from a year ago.

The win gives Parkview its first district championship since 2018. The Vikings will have an opportunity to play for their first semifinal appearance since 1981.

The Vikings will also play a game in their own gym for the first time this season Saturday against Jefferson City in the quarterfinals. Parkview had water damage to its court ahead of the season, leaving it to play "home" games at Hillcrest and Central throughout the year.

Jefferson City is listed at 10-19 but was forced to forfeit 13 games in the middle of its season due to paperwork issues with a transfer. The Jays beat the Vikings 60-54 in Jefferson City on Jan. 26 but the game is listed as a forfeit.

Jefferson City defeated Hillcrest last season in the Class 5 quarterfinals with a 60-56 overtime victory.

Class 6: Central 57, Kickapoo 54

Kickapoo missed a game-tying 3-pointer before the horn as the Bulldogs won their first district championship in 15 years.

Four lead changes in the last five minutes highlighted the battle between the Ozark Conference co-champions. Heroics from senior Tyrique Brooks (17 points) and Trevor Wilson (six points) helped lift the Bulldogs past the Chiefs who were down by nine at one point late in the third quarter.

Central will play at Rockhurst in the quarterfinals after the Hawklets upset Lee's Summit West in double-overtime. A win for the Bulldogs would put them in the state semifinals for the first time since 1963.
