Booma legion baseball tryouts begin Saturday
PORTSMOUTH - The first of two tryouts for the upcoming Portsmouth Booma Post 6 American Legion baseball season begin Saturday at Leary Field.
A second tryout is scheduled for Saturday, May 18. Players can register at the field for tryouts. Eligible players must live in either of the Portsmouth, Winnacunnet, York, or Traip school districts.
Tryout times for both days are as follows:
Prep Team: 15U (2009- 2011) - 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Junior Team: 17U (2007-2010) - 10 a.m. to noon
Senior team: 19U (2005-10) - 10 a.m. to noon.
