THURSDAY

Volleyball

First Baptist 3, St. John Neumann 0: The Lions downed the Celtics 25-16, 25-17, 25-13. Grand Canyon commit Zara Stewart posted 16 kills and 7 digs, while Peyton Garrick added 12 kills.

Estero 3, Marco Island 2: The Wildcats (3-1) pulled out a 25-20, 16-25, 18-25, 25-20, 15-11 win without starting setter Sofia King. Estero was led by Gia Rosencrans with 12 kills and 5 blocks, along with Kendall Williams who posted a season-high 21 assists while adding three aces.

“Marco had our backs against the wall," Estero coach John Ban said. "The girls dug down deep to rally in the fourth set and carry that momentum into the fifth for the win.”

In the loss for the Rays (6-3), Medney Garraux had 24 kills and 9 digs. Madison Stolinas posted 42 assists, adding 16 digs, 5 kills, and 5 aces. Rylee Howard and Jayden Ragan added 11 kills apiece, while Jenna Ragan had 18 digs.

Gulf Coast 3, Aubrey Rogers 0: Gulf Coast won over the Patriots, 25-11, 25-16, 25-7. The Sharks finished the match with a team hitting percentage of .452 and a team passing rating of 2.22. The Sharks were led by Kate Drasba, who finished with 9 kills, 2 aces, and 8 digs. Kiley Stone posted 5 kills, 5 aces and 12 digs.

SFCA 3, Babcock Ranch 0: The King's breezed to a clean sweep 25-8, 25-12, 25-6. Eighth-grader Gigi Noah tallied eight kills for SFCA, while Emily Martinez had 26 assists.

Evangelical Christian 3, LaBelle 2: The Sentinels defeated LaBelle in a five set game, 15-25, 26-28, 25-21, 25-21, 15-12. Ashlyn Anderson led ECS with 15 kills, 9 digs, 5 aces and 12 assists. Sydney Strom had 8 kills, 10 digs and 3 aces. Claire Follweiler added 8 kills. Demi Ritchie led in defense with 29 digs.

Riverdale 3, Lehigh 0: The Raiders handled the Lightning in straight sets 25-14, 25-14, 25-10. Olivia Znotens had 14 kills and four digs, while Jaylynn Campbell added five kills, five digs, and seven aces. Emily Grant tallied 20 assists and eight aces in the win.

Cape Coral 3, Island Coast 0: The Seahawks cruised past the Gators in straight sets 25-11, 25-23, 25-16. Sophia Herrera registered nine kills and two blocks, while Amelia Wusterbarth notched 24 assists and 14 service points.

North Fort Myers 3, Oasis 0: The Red Knights came out on top of a slugfest with the Sharks 25-20, 25-23, 26-24. Jordan Baksh had six kills and 14 digs for Oasis, while Mia Poskon added five kills and 16 assists in the loss.

Lely 3, Immokalee 0: Kyra Schmid led the Trojans with seven kills, while Addie Heinrich tallied six aces in the winning effort for Lely, which won

Barron Collier 221, Naples 151: The Cougars defeated the Golden Eagles on both the boys' (124-62) and the girls' (97-89) side on Thursday. Here are the winners for each event.

Boys Golf

Southwest Florida Christian Academy 196, Seacrest 202: Jacob Pigott and Patrick Riley both shot a 44 for the King's, while Forrest McDaniel carded a 51, and Izael Rios rounded out the scorecard with a 57.

Gulf Coast finished second at the St. John Neumann Invitational with a team score of 150. The Sharks were led by seniors Aidan Tipple, Dominic Wirtz and Bautista Valeiras who tied for 8th place individually.

Girls Golf

Gulf Coast's Sara Vitasek and First Baptist's Eva Lye both finished two under at the St. John Neumann Invitational, but Vitasek took home first place after defeating Lye in two playoff holes.

Girls Bowling

Oasis 750, South Fort Myers 116: Katarina Hagler led the Sharks with seven strikes and two spares for a team-best 219. Lexi Lenius bowled a 184 with six strikes and one spare, while Meesha Neujahr rolled a 155 with three strikes and four spares.

Mariner 5, North Fort Myers 0: Regan Tucker led the Tritons after she rolled a 134. Samantha Contino followed closely with a 132, while added Malia Araujo a 124, Lorelai Schippel a 118, and Delaney Tucker rounded out the winning effort with a 92.

Cypress Lake 5, Community School of Naples 0: The Panthers swept the Seahawks while Mackenzie Stouffer notched a 225 for the Panthers.

Cape Coral 4, Lehigh 0: Brooke Pabst rolled a 172 in the Seahawks' sweep.

Bishop Verot 5, Gateway 0 (forfeit): Isabella Lentz rolled a 137 in the Vikings' win.

Boys Bowling

Oasis 385, South Fort Myers 237: Charles Broadley notched three strikes and four spares in the Sharks' win on Thursday.

Mariner 5, North Fort Myers 0: Chris Smith and Bo Laventure both bowled a game-high 182 for the Tritons, while Andre Enslin rolled a 150. Mike Testa finished with a 137, and Brady Yount added a 105.

Cypress Lake 5, Community School of Naples 0: Chayce Stouffer rolled a team-best 191 for the Panthers.

Cape Coral 4, Lehigh 0: Daniel Lynn led the Seahawks past the Lightning with a team-best 279.

Bishop Verot 3, Gateway 2: Nolan Wagner rolled a team-best 179 in the Viking's win.

MONDAY

Volleyball

Canterbury 3, Estero 1: With Canterbury on the ropes early, Estero was unable to close the door. The Cougars downed the Wildcats in four sets on the road, winning 27-25, 23-25, 25-12, 25-5.

In the first set, Estero had leads of 6-1, 15-8, 20-16, and 23-20, nearly leading from start to finish. Canterbury roared back and posted three unanswered points while keeping their chances alive down 24-23 and 25-24.

For Canterbury, Brighten Sedmack was virtually indefensible with 19 kills and 3 aces, while Madison Hammermeister added 13 kills. Addison Piatt had 10 kills and 18 digs, while Aaliyah Harlow had a game-high 27 digs. Molly Dunn had 31 assists. As a team, Canterbury hit .355 on the night.

In the loss for Estero, Ashlynn Ban posted 9 kills and 17 digs, while Sofia King posted a season-high 19 assists with four kills. Gia Rosencrans had 8 kills and 4 blocks for the Wildcats.

Fort Myers 3, Cape Coral 0: The Green Wave were dominant from wire to wire, downing the Seahawks 25-13, 25-15, 25-9. Ashlee Tenkley posted 11 kills, 7 digs, and 3 aces, while Gabby Dwyer had 7 kills, 4 aces, and a pair of blocks. Ella Chevalier added 13 digs and 6 aces in the winning effort.

Bishop Verot 3, Aubrey Rogers 0: The Vikings handled business against the Patriots, winning 25-17, 25-10, 25-14. Kerrigan Habing and Maddie Knaak led the way for Verot, which moves to 5-2 on the year.

Marco Island 3, Mason Classical 0: The Rays got a 25-12, 25-16, 25-13 win over Mason, with Medney Garraux posting 11 kills, 8 aces, and 4 digs. Jenna Ragan had 7 kills, 5 digs, and 2 aces, while Madison Stolinas had 22 assists and 6 aces. Rylee Howard added 5 kills for Marco.
