South Plainfield zoning board to consider warehouse on Cragwood Road

SOUTH PLAINFIELD – A new warehouse distribution facility has been proposed for

Bridge Acquisition of Parsippany is requesting that the borough zoning board approve its bifurcated use and bulk variance application to permit an approximately 185,501-square-foot warehouse, of which 6,385 square feet is office use, at 1 Cragwood Road.

Bridge Acquisition is seeking a variance for minimum front yard setback where 75 feet is required and 50 feet is requested.

The property is located in an industrial zone.

A public hearing on the application is scheduled at the zoning board meeting at 7 p.m. Jan. 4 in the Council Chambers in Borough Hall, 2480 Plainfield Ave.

In the event the meeting is canceled, Bridge Acquisition will appear at the next regularly scheduled meeting, according to a public notice.

The maps and documents of the application are available for public inspection in the Building Inspector's office at South Plainfield Borough Hall, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday by contacting Stephanie Merola at 732-215-6383 or emailing smerola@southplainfieldnj.com.
