All-South-Central League soccer teams announced, Pueblo Centennial's West earns MVP honors

The 2023 fall sports season has come and gone. Now that the season is over, it’s time to announce the All-South-Central League teams for soccer.

The season ended with Pueblo Centennial and Pueblo West heading to the playoffs. Unfortunately, both teams only made it to the first round — West lost on the road 2-0 to Centaurus while Centennial dropped its game against Niwot on the road 2-1.

This year’s team was selected by all of the coaches in the league and voted on for first team, second team, all-academic team, and honorable mentions.

This year's S-CL MVP is Shon West of Pueblo Centennial.

West finished with 12 goals and six assists from his defender position. He was also one of the best defensive players in the league as well and was a pillar for the Bulldogs all season long.

Offensive Player of the Year goes to Michael Ceyrolles of Pueblo Centennial. He was tied for first in goals in the league this season with 16 and he finished first in assists with 14 on the year.

Defensive Player of the Year goes to Gavin Miller of Pueblo County; Goalkeeper of the Year goes to Leo Styduhar of Pueblo Central.

Co-Coach of the Year goes to Eric Young of Pueblo West and Jeff Greenwood of Pueblo Centennial.
