The Denver Nuggets are waiving guard Erick Green and re-signing forward Kostas Papanikolaou, league sources told Yahoo Sports. Papanikolaou was acquired by Denver as part of the trade that sent point guard Ty Lawson to Houston but was waived Sept. Papanikolaou, who played 43 games with Houston in his rookie season last year, will provide some depth at forward with Wilson Chandler being sidelined with a right hip strain.
