Nassourdine Imavov is a main event winner for the first time after beating Roman Dolidze on Saturday at UFC Fight Night 235.
Imavov (13-4 MMA, 5-2 UFC) rebounded from his no contest with Chris Curtis in June with a majority decision victory over Dolidze (12-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, moving him a notch higher up the ladder in the ever-evolving middleweight division.

Lots of clinching along the wall in rd 2. Dolidze had enough to tie Imavov up and press him into the fence, but not enough to make use of the position. Imavov didn't have much counter offense. Dolidze got popped by another right before the end of the rd, but largely uneventful.
