Social media reacts to former Wisconsin RB Braelon Allen’s NFL combine performance
Former Wisconsin running back Braelon Allen went through positional drills at the NFL combine Saturday afternoon.
The former Badger did not run the 40-yard dash, opting to instead do so at Wisconsin’s pro day later this month.
Allen enters the draft after a three-year career at Wisconsin. He finishes college having recorded 3,494 yards and 35 touchdowns on 597 carries, also adding 49 receptions and 275 receiving yards.

He’s a physically imposing running back, as Badgers fans know. The NFL draft world recently went crazy over pictures of him when he was 17 years old and entering college.
Some on X did the same during Allen’s positional drills Saturday afternoon. Here is how social media reacted throughout the day:
He's much bigger than the other running backs

No 40 time, but he's quick:
Braelon Allen didn't run the 40, but I hand timed him as the 2nd quickest back through the Off-Tackle Recognition drill. Such quick feet for a dude his size pic.twitter.com/8hx8Kg5nzK

Allen can also receive well
Braelon Allen looked natural catching the ball in these drills.
Reminds me of Melvin Gordon who also showed at the Combine he can catch passes in the NFL

Some still want to see his 40 time
Braelon Allen didn’t run the 40. Actually wanted to see his athleticism in comparison to Estime

A.J. Dillon 2.0?
Would you draft Braelon Allen to be the team’s RB2? He’s a faster version of AJ Dillon… and I’m sure you guys have Wisconsin bias too 👀#Packers pic.twitter.com/LM9zB9V43i
