Social media reacts to Coach Prime’s first win leading CU Buffs
Deion Sanders proved to the college football world on Saturday that he can talk the talk and walk the walk.
Colorado’s first-year head coach led the Buffaloes into Amon G. Carter Stadium. With the help of otherworldly performances by two-way phenom Travis Hunter, starting quarterback Shedeur Sanders and true freshman running back Dylan Edwards, the Buffaloes managed a 45-42 upset of No. 17 TCU.
The Horned Frogs, who reached the College Football Playoff last season, couldn’t slow Colorado’s passing game: The younger Sanders threw for more than 500 yards in his Buffs debut.
As you’d expect, social media had plenty to say about Coach Prime’s inspiring first win with the Buffs:
God is sooo good‼️‼️ #BuffNation stand the hell up and take a bow!!!! Saturday night in Boulder is lit….🔥🔥🦬🦬

It cannot be overstated what Deion Sanders did today.
To turn the whole Colorado program around from what it was last season to today beating a team that played in the National Championship last season…
It’s one thing to talk about it.
It’s another to actually do it.Wow.

Every household in America will mention the Buffaloes today.

Almost speechless. Semi euphoric. Very proud. That performance from @CUBuffsFootball 🦬: truly incredible given challenges @DeionSanders & staff faced. No offense all weekend will execute any better in their opener than Sean Lewis' crew. If you thought it was all hype: WRONG
