Social media reactions to Michigan’s tribute to suspended head coach Jim Harbaugh

Many Ohio State Football fans are always watching what rival Michigan is doing.

That’s especially true when the two teams aren’t playing at the same time on a Saturday. Opening weekend had the Wolverines playing in the early slot against cupcake East Carolina, while our beloved Buckeyes played Indiana in the mid-afternoon window.

If you didn’t know, Michigan’s head coach Jim Harbaugh is sitting out the first three games of this season on a self-imposed sanction as the NCAA investigates the program for recruiting violations.

It doesn’t seem like the players received the memo that this was self-imposed because some of their pregame and in-game actions showed differently. Check out what Michigan did, along with reactions to their support of their suspended coach.

JJ McCarthy’s pregame attire

Reaction

Is Harbaugh in jail? Pretty sure the university approved of this.

Ben Stevens, you are correct

Reaction

Stevens understood the penalty, not sure the players did.

Free hamburgers?

Reaction

Obviously this is photoshopped, but it’s still funny.

How about some in-game antics

Reaction

Can’t help but laugh at this, too. The cheeseburger strikes again.

Reaction from their other rival

Reaction

The odd-ball head coach has rubbed off on his players and fan base. I don’t agree with Michigan State fans often, but this one is right.

Living tribute?

Reaction

Yeah, Grayson, Harbaugh isn’t dead. He’s just suspended for three games.
