London Titans boss Matt Sealy is predicting fireworks this weekend as his side travel to Turkey to lock horns with the EuroCup 3 Finals.

The Titans, who boast Paralympic icon and BBC personality Ade Adepitan in their ranks, will play the likes of Hannover United and P.D.M Treviso between April 27th and 30th.

The four-tier competition features 55 teams from 14 different countries and will visit 16 locations across four weekends, with Titans competing to win silverware.

“EuroCup is very important for some of these players in being seen, especially young players, who are aspiring to be future GB players," said Sealy. “They play at this level, and they get seen by international coaches. It makes a big difference to their careers - it can really shoot their careers in all different directions.”

Heathrow Express has partnered with the London Titans to highlight the accessibility of its service.

A charter has been created by Heathrow Express to support the Titans in the EuroCup, ensuring a travel experience on its trains that is suitable for everyone by making accessibility for all a priority.

They are working with their rail and airport partners to maintain a completely step-free service from train to plane and back again, so passengers with wheelchairs and mobility aids can travel with ease.

The goal is to continue to improve the quality of its accessible travel offering and continuously and consistently deliver the commitments made in its Accessible Travel Policy.

Heathrow Express partners with mobility charities and organisations to understand the specific needs of every passenger who travels and to ensure its staff receive regular training to enable them to deliver a service that is accessible to all.

“Travelling on the Heathrow Express, often with a lot of luggage, is a very smooth and easy process for wheelchair users,” added Sealy. “The staff are very helpful, they set the ramps to help you board and off-board the train. Accessibility wise, it starts all the way from the booking. They enquire about each passenger, the details of dimensions of chairs, the weight of the chairs, and obviously how many of us are travelling. They check that through with all departments which makes our journey that little bit smoother.

Every player we have in our team has their individual strengths. You get to these tournaments where you’re playing professional clubs and it’s more of a test of your self-belief. The environment that Titans has is great. I’ve known some of these guys my whole life. It’s great when you can build a team for that long. Heathrow and Heathrow Express have helped our club enormously. I wouldn’t be sitting here in Bosnia doing this interview without both of those companies' support.”
