Sixers’ Jaden Springer leads Blue Coats over Nets to reach G League finals

While the Philadelphia 76ers were having a tough time with the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night, their G League affiliate had another big night in the G League playoffs.

The Delaware Blue Coats knocked off the Long Island Nets on the road on Sunday night 108-94 to reach the G League finals. Second-year guard Jaden Springer led the way with 21 points, 16 rebounds, and three blocks while Louis King, who’s on a two-way deal with the Sixers, had 20 points and five assists.

Springer shot only 8-for-22 from the floor, but he was able to get his points and the young Sixers guard was able to help guide the Blue Coats to a big playoff win.

Along with Springer and King having big nights, the Sixers received 16 points and seven rebounds from Mac McClung. Charlie Brown Jr. chipped in with 16 points and 12 rebounds, Braxton Key had 15 points, nine rebounds, and six assists, and Justin Smith added 12 points on 6-for-7 shooting.
