Sixers guard Matisse Thybulle out at least a week with shoulder injury
The Philadelphia 76ers have been looking to get healthier, but they have recently had one of their important pieces suffer some right shoulder soreness that will keep him out for a period of time.
Matisse Thybulle, one of the team’s elite defenders out on the perimeter, suffered the injury in their Jan. 14 win over the Boston Celtics when he took a hard fall off a steal and a dunk. He was pushed in the back by Celtics guard Dennis Schroder who was called for a flagrant-1 foul.
Thybulle then missed Saturday’s win over the Miami Heat on the road and he underwent an MRI. It revealed that he has a right shoulder sprain and he will be re-evaluated in a week.

The Sixers were able to play some solid defense without Thybulle on Saturday and will have to continue to do so. They will take on a tough Washington Wizards team on Monday to complete their two-game road trip.
