Pins by two-time state qualifiers Joseph DeAngelo (113) and Frankie Burgio (126) bookended a three-bout, 18-point run from 113-126 that sent the Panthers on their way to the win over the Tigers.
South Plainfield then pulled within 24-15 before a pin by freshman and Shore Conference Tournament 157-pound champion Jake Clayton started a six-bout 36-point Point Boro run that also included pins by 2022 region fifth-place finisher Ryan Acquisto and Tanner Hynes.
Brayden Clark (144) also pinned for the Panthers.
No. 13 Raritan 38, Morris Knolls 30:
Pins by Ryan Settle and Jonathan Gazerwitz in the 190 and 215-pound bouts clinched the Rockets' win over the Golden Eagles with one bout remaining.
Raritan erased a 15-3 defict after four bouts with a five-bout, 23-point run from 132-157. The run was started by a pin by Aidan Davis and also included wins by technical fall by returning state fifth-place finisher Zack Reilley (144) and returning region qualifier Logan Acevedo (157).
Paulsboro 36, No. 5 Brick Memorial 27:
Paulsboro jumped out to a 33-3 lead after eight bouts and went on to defeat the Mustangs.
Paulsboro's early run was keyed by a 7-4 win by returning state qualifier Hayden Holmes (120) over two-time region top six finisher Gavin Martin in the match's first bout and pins by returning region sixth-place finisher Aundre Hill (126), two-time state qualifier Chase Bish (150), 2022 state eighth-place finisher and two-time state qualifier Roman Onorato (165) and returning region qualifier Sawyer Cabanas (157).
Brick Memorial closed to within 33-18 on a decision by Trey Tallmadge (175) and pins by 2022 state 175-pound champion and 2023 state 175-pound runner-up Harvey Ludington and returning state qualifier Ben Szuba (215) before a 6-3 win by heavyweight Jared Hazel clinched the match for Paulsboro with two bouts left.
A significant result saw Brick Memorial's Jack Torre (144) defeat returning state qualifier Logan Sichestiel 6-3. It was Sichestiel's second bout of the season. He had been sidelined for a month with an injury.

The Rams had seven pins and collected bonus points in nine of their 10 wins as they defeated the Knights.
Returning region champion Anthony Mason (106), freshman Cash McVey (113), returning state qualifier Scottie Sari (138), returning state champion Matt Henrich (157), returning state eighth-place finisher Hayden Hochstrasser (165), freshman Levi Foote (175) and returning region champion Collin French (215) all pinned.
Returning region sixth-place finisher Attila Vigilante (126) and returning sixth-place finisher Wyatt Stout (144) won by technical fall.

Returning region champion Michael DiBiase (106), returning state qualifier Noah Michaels (120), Joseph Gallagher Jr. (126), Robert Connelley (157), Vincent Muscillo (165), Jamie Gutridge (215) and two-time region champion and 2022 state seventh-place finisher Lorenzo Portella (heavyweight) all pinned.
Michael Milke (132) and 2023 region fifth-place finisher both won by major decision.

Jack Cleary's pin in the 165-pound bout started a 36-point run over the final seven bouts as the Hornets erased a 21-9 deficit halfway through the match and defeated the Crimson Knights.
A.J. Todisco, a Region 5 fifth-place finisher last year, followed Cleary's pin, with an 8-7 win over Nicholas Wonsala. Hansa Elmsei (215), 2022 region qualifier Rowen Blackmore (106) and freshman Dylan Placca (113) also pinned during the decisive run.

Two-time state champion Anthony Knox weighed in at 120 for the second straight match day and majored Dalton Walton, who was one win shy of a state medal last year at 113, 12-4, as the Lancers defeated the Lions.
Knox had weighing in and wrestling at 126 all season until he weighed in and wrestled at 120 this past Wednesday night. Knox won state titles at 113 in 2022 and 120 last year.
Pope John recorded two bout wins with potential state seeding significiance.
At 132, two-time state top six finisher Carson Walsh defeated 2022 state 106-pound runner-up and 2023 state 132-pound eighth-place finisher 5-2, and at 138, Pope John's Justin Holly defeated Jake Zaltsman 1-0 in a matchup of two two-time state qualifiers.
