Independence volleyball's Ally Greenwell takes home Tennessean girls athlete of the week

Ally Greenwell's massive performance last week has earned her the title of the Tennessean girls athlete of the week for Aug. 28-Sept. 1.

The Independence volleyball star had 6,231 total votes to capture 61.4% of the girls total (10,147). She beat out Gallatin's Gracie Hibdon who finished with 1,864 votes and BGA's Johanna Snyder (934).

Greenwell amassed 144 kills, 17 aces, 17 blocks and 112 digs in three games last week as Indy competed against Summit, Brentwood and Page.
