The SEC men's basketball tournament kicks off tonight with four teams battling for a chance to reach the final ten in contention for an SEC title.

The first game of the night will start at 7 p.m. ET between the No. 13-seed Vanderbilt Commodores and the No. 12-seed Arkansas Razorbacks. Vanderbilt may have gotten the better of the Razorbacks in these teams' last meeting on Feb. 27, but the Razorbacks are just a week removed from a solid win against LSU and battled well against the SEC Tournament's No. 3-seed, Alabama, in their most recent game.

The second game will start 25 minutes after the conclusion of the first, with the No. 11-seed Georgia Bulldogs squaring off against the last-place Missouri Tigers. Georgia is looking pretty solid in this one, given the Tigers have not won a game since the calendar read 2023. However, Missouri has improved as of late with three of their last four losses coming by fewer than 10 points. Perhaps the tournament is exactly the kick that Missouri needs to get their first win of 2024.
