SCHSL realignment: All Upstate SC high school region changes for 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons

Newly designed high school regions after realignment by the South Carolina High School League were released Wednesday for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years.

Greenville is up to the highest classification, reassigned to Region 1-AAAAA. Christ Church, St, Joseph’s and Southside Christian will remain region foes but up two classifications to AAA. Brashier Middle College and High Point will be up one classification to AA.

Here are all the new regions involving Upstate schools:

Class AAAAA

Region 1 – Easley, Greenville, Greenwood, Hillcrest, J.L. Mann, Mauldin, T.L. Hanna, Woodmont

Region 2 – Boiling Springs, Dorman, Eastside, Gaffney, Byrnes, Riverside, Spartanburg, Wade Hampton

Class AAAA

Region 1 – Emerald, Fountain Inn, Laurens, Southside, Westside, Wren

Region 2 – Berea, Blue Ridge, Daniel, Greer, Pickens, Seneca, Travelers Rest

Region 1 – Belton-Honea Path, Crescent, Pendleton, Walhalla, West-Oak

Region 2 – Carolina, Christ Church, Palmetto, Powdersville, Southside Christian, St. Joseph’s

Region 3 – Broome, Chapman, Greer Middle College, Mountain View, Union County, Woodruff

Class AA

Region 1 – Blacksburg, Brashier Middle College, Chesnee, Greenville Tech, High Point, Landrum, Liberty, Clinton (football only)

Class A

Region 1 – Abbeville, Calhoun Falls, GREEN Upstate, McCormick, South Carolina School for Deaf and Blind, Thornwell, Ware Shoals, Whitmire
