Barnstable 7, Rutland 0: An exciting postseason run for Rutland ended in the morning at Stanley Johnson Field in North Oxford, with Barnstable advancing to Sunday's final against Canton.
Rutland completed its postseason 10-4, with two of the losses followed by unbeaten runs through the rest of the District 4 and Section 1 tournaments for titles.
The winner of Sunday's game advances to the New England Regionals in Bristol, Connecticut, where a region representative to the Little League World Series in Williamsport will be determined.
