San Francisco 49ers at Cleveland Browns: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 6 game

The San Francisco 49ers (5-0) are one of two undefeated teams left in the league. In Week 6, they take their train east to face the Cleveland Browns (2-2), who are coming off a bye week.

49ers running back Christian McCaffrey has dominated with three 100-yard games this season, but was held to 51 yards and lost a fumble in a 42-10 win over the Dallas Cowboys. San Francisco's offense didn't miss a step as Brock Purdy threw four touchdowns, including three to tight end George Kittle.

Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is struggling with a shoulder injury. He missed the Week 4 division matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, which Cleveland lost 28-3. Dorian Thompson-Robinson went 19-of-36 for 121 yards and three interceptions. Watson's status for this matchup is uncertain.

The last time the 49ers started a season 6-0 was in 2019 when they went on an eight-game win streak to open the season. The last time these two teams faced off was during that run when San Francisco won 31-3.

Tyler Dragon: 49ers 28, Browns 19

Watch the 49ers play through the first five weeks of the NFL season and your eyes will tell you they are the best team in the NFL. The 49ers are the only team in the league with a top three offense and defense. It’s going to be a long day for the Browns in Cleveland.

Victoria Hernandez: 49ers 32, Browns 13

There is a major question mark at quarterback for the Browns, who are also without star running back Nick Chubb. Meanwhile, the 49ers have offensive weapons aplenty and last week showed that even when one is shut down, they don't miss a step.

Safid Deen: 49ers 30, Browns 17

Brock Purdy and the 49ers are on a roll in all phases, and look primed for a Super Bowl run. They’ll stifle the Browns in Cleveland easily, and improve to 6-0 this week.
